
For all future conservationist wanting to develop skills, knowledge and connections to further their CV ready for the next steps in their career development.
This module is number 1 in a series of modules that you can work through, each taking around 1-3hrs to complete. This module is compulsory and on completion you will gain access to a range of optional modules focusing on different animals, elements of zoos and conservation.
To complete this module you need to get a pass rate of 70% and you will have unlimited attempts at the assignments.

Unit 1. Define the terms species, ecosystem and niche |
Unit 2. Explain that biodiversity is considered at three different levels. variation in ecosystems or habitats, the number of species and their relative abundance, genetic variation within each species. |
Unit 3. Discuss the threats to biodiversity of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems and the reasons to maintain biodiversity. |
