How will the winner be selected?
The five top photos(from five different photographers) will be selected by Academy staff based on visual impact, content/composition, thoughtfulness of written captions and how it fits the category. We invite you to think about picture(s) that best describe you and your work. We are looking for imagery that is active, engaging, or humorous. Images which communicate the depth, breadth and wealth of conservation field work which Durrell trained conservationists participate in.The overall winner will be voted for by Alumni!
The vote will take place on 15th-20th September (reminders will be sent out on Facebook and the Alumni Hub Chat.
The winner will receive £250 which can be spent however the entrant sees fit. However, if you plan on spending the money to support your conservation work, please let us know how it will be spent. If you are one of the chosen top 5 we will share this information and your caption, with Alumni members at the vote.
We are a small training team and are unfortunately unable to contact unsuccessful entrants individually, and no feedback on any entry will be provided.
