How will you benefit?
The training focuses on key competencies essential for early to mid-career professionals working in wildlife conservation, threatened species recovery, and forest or habitat restoration, combining both technical and vocational elements.
Where will the course be run?
Durrell Conservation Training Headquarters in Mauritius. Teaching will be delivered by Durrell's own conservation specialists in Island Restoration, Conservation Science, Conservation Education and Outreach all with first hand experience in successfully restoring island ecosystems and building regional conservation capacity.
How much will it cost?
Training is offered free of charge for Mauritian participants. Full scholarships are available for participants from Southwest Indian Ocean (SWIO) covering course fees, return international flights, shared accommodation and inland transport. Please note: visa costs and travel insurance are NOT included.
